The ISO 9001 is the world’s foremost quality management standard, used by hundreds of thousands of organizations in over 170 countries across the globe. It sets out the essential requirements for a practical and effective quality management system to minimize risk and maximize opportunities in the workplace.
There are 8 key principles set out by ISO 9001 and these include; customer focus, leadership, involvement of people, process approach, system approach to management, continual improvement, factual approach to decision making and mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
