Stabilization of Floor Slab, Longford
TAL Construction were brought on board by Gem Construction to complete works during a shut down to rectify an area that one of the robots was on that had a rocking motion in the concrete floor.

TAL cored through the existing floor first. Then grouting was incorporated to solidify the upper section. Once this was completed a hollow bar was installed by hand through this down onto competent ground.

TAL were involved with Ward & Burke Construction Ltd to propose a system here for works to the existing toilet block to rectify issues with the foundations.

The system incorporated here was a 2 stage grouting procedure.
Stage 1 involved drilling and grouting works to 1.5m deep.
Stage 2 involved drilling through stage 1 and continuing down to 3m.

TAL were involved in proposing the remedial system with the use of one of our external engineers for the works at the above address.

The system used here was a combination of grouting the upper section of soil below the foundation for 1.5m and then installing hollowbar anchors through this to the desired depth.
Also we installed a beam at the chimney breast for extra support.

TAL were involved with the builder (repeat custom) on this refurbishment job to complete foundation remedial works.

TAL installed 6 number pressure grouting points by hand to 2m deep. This involved drilling to 2m deep at each posistion and then pressure grouting up the pins with neat cement grout. A H20 rebar was then installed.
Works were completed on time and within budget.

TAL were involved with the engineer in relation to putting together a claim for the works in relation to this property. Once the claim was settled TAL completed the works on time and within budget.

Once we set up on site we completed check grouting at 12 number positions around the affected areas. Then we installed micro pile anchors through the grouted pins to the final depths.

Once the foundation works were complete we replaced all the drainage and also installed new footpaths and relaid the brickwork at the front of the property.

TAL were involved from the start on this one with the engineer in order to get a claim cleared for the works on an escape of water claim.

Once the claim was settled TAl completed the works on time here. Works were balanced around the occupants of the house to allow them access and still complete the works here.

The works here involved the pressure grouting of the existing foundations and the replacement of the existing drainage system (which was clay) with PVC.

The works here involved exposing the locations at the top of the foundations (29 number points) around the house including 4 points to an internal room. Check grouting works and then the installation of anchors to circa 6m deep.
Despite the presence of deep foundations TAL completed the works here on time and within the original budget.

Once the foundation works were completed TAL then completed a refit of the drainage around the property and tested and passed the new systems for the engineer.
Once the drainage works were complete TAL replaced the disturbed areas around the property.
