TAL were involved in the installation of compression and compression piles along with beams to stabilize the front elevation of the property.
Due to the extremely restricted access of the property TAL used a grundomat pile installed inside and outside the front wall with a beam connecting them.
2 Stage Grouting,Toilet Block, Monkstown, Cork
TAL were involved with Ward & Burke Construction Ltd to propose a system here for works to the existing toilet block to rectify issues with the foundations.
The system incorporated here was a 2 stage grouting procedure.
Stage 1 involved drilling and grouting works to 1.5m deep.
Stage 2 involved drilling through stage 1 and continuing down to 3m.
Bottom Driven Piles, Bremen Avenue, Irishtown, Dublin 4
TAL were involved in the installation of piles for the purpose of an extension to a property here.
TAL installed 12 number piles to an average of 8m. The system used here was a 150mm steel cased bottom driven pile. Two piles were dynamically tested on site to prove the load for these piles.
Mini Piling & Beams, Kenley Road, Model Farm Road, Cork
TAL were involved in the installation of a pile and beam system around the affected areas of the property.
There was a combination of open bore piles and hollow bar micro piles used on this site.
Tension and compression piles were used with the beams.
An element of drainage had to be completed here as well.
TAL completed pavement finishes here as well.
Trial Holes Glasheen Road & Rossa Avenue Cork
TAL were instructed to complete 3 trials holes in two different properties to enable the investigation of the existing foundations.
The trial holes were temporary covered in order to arrange the call out of the engineers to view the exposed foundations before backfilling works would be completed.
Grouting, Anchors, Piles & Beam Coundon Crt. Killiney, Co Dublin
TAL were involved in proposing the remedial system with the use of one of our external engineers for the works at the above address.
The system used here was a combination of grouting the upper section of soil below the foundation for 1.5m and then installing hollowbar anchors through this to the desired depth.
Also we installed a beam at the chimney breast for extra support.
Grundomat Piles, Eden grove Donabate, Co. Dublin
TAL Construction were involved in the installation of piles for an extension at the above property.
TAL installed 6 number Grundomat cased piles to 5m deep.

Escape of water claim, Ashleigh Gardens, Skehard Road, Cork
TAL Construction were involved in the process of a claim in relation to this property.
Once the claim was settled TAL completed a pressure grouting system to the affected foundations and also replaced the drainage and pavement finishes.
Bottom Driven Piles, Roches Feeds, Dock Road, Limerick
TAL Construction were involved on repeat works at the above location for future expansion works.
TAL installed 9 number piles to an average of 14 meters on site. The piles installed were 220mm steel cased bottom driven piles. Works were completed on time to a strict time schedule in order for the ground worker to complete their works and not impede on production lines.
