Dynamic Probes Fermoy, Cork and Cappoquin, Waterford.
TAL completed 6 probes at each property to give a guide for the clients and the engineer as to what kind the ground was before construction would start.
Site Investigation Works at Blarney, Co. Cork
TAL were involved in the investigation of an area of land here that was being proposed for future development.
We completed 23 dynamic probes across the proposed site to get a feel for the ground conditions.
Also we completed 3 boreholes to prove that there was rock after the probes were completed.
Drainage Replacement @ Sandymount Avenue, Co. Cork
TAl were involved in the removal of the existing drainage and the installation of a new PVC system connected out to the boundary.
The clay drains were removed ans replaced with PVC and also the line from the boundary to the communal line was lined.
The works were carried out while the occupants of the house were there. At the boundary of the property there was no manhole so we installed one so as the line could be accessed.
Pressure Grouting Works Castelgreine Park, Cork
TAL were involved with the builder (repeat custom) on this refurbishment job to complete foundation remedial works.
TAL installed 6 number pressure grouting points by hand to 2m deep. This involved drilling to 2m deep at each posistion and then pressure grouting up the pins with neat cement grout. A H20 rebar was then installed.
Works were completed on time and within budget.
Piezometers Installation, Limerick
TAL were involved in the installation of 2 number Piezometers to 4 meters each.

Check Grouting & Anchors @ Foxborough Herons Wood, Cork
TAL were involved with the engineer in relation to putting together a claim for the works in relation to this property. Once the claim was settled TAL completed the works on time and within budget.
Once we set up on site we completed check grouting at 12 number positions around the affected areas. Then we installed micro pile anchors through the grouted pins to the final depths.
Two beams were also installed at the front and rear corners of the building.
Once the foundation works were complete we replaced all the drainage and also installed new footpaths and relaid the brickwork at the front of the property.
All drains were tested and signed off once the works were completed with the engineer.
Trial Holes @ Property @ Maryborough, Co. Cork
TAL were involved in the exposing of trial holes for the architect in order for him to establish the profile of the existing foundation to the property that they were involved with.

Grundomat Piles @ Blackwater Co Wexford
TAl were involved in the installation of 16 number Grundomat piles.
These piles are 100mm piles cased and that are driven to a set. They are then filled with neat cement grout.
150mm Open Bore Pile, Kilmallock Road, Limerick
TAL were involved in the installation of 21 number piles for a block of houses. the system that was used here was an Open bored pile with a 2m PVC casing at the top and also including a rock socket.
The piles were installed in three days and testing was completed on two number piles after the seven day period had passed.
