TAL were involved on this job to complete site investigation works for the engineer and the architect in relation to the a possible extension to the existing house.
TAL exposed a trial hole on site to get the depth and profile of the existing foundation here.
TAL then completed 2 dynamic probes at the rear of the property (restricted access due to side gate)
Mini Piling, Rathass,Tralee, Co. Kerry
TAL were involved in the installation of 14 number piles to 4 m deep. The site was a restricted access site.
2 of these piles were dynamically tested to prove the design load.
Mini Piling, Hollowbar Micro Pile, Tralee, Co. Kerry
TAL were involved in the installation of 24 piles as per the engineers instruction in a very restricted site. Due to the restricted nature of the works the TALMAN Drill Rig was again the right rig for the works.
Also we had to contend with Storm Ophelia who decided to grace her presents on us during the works. Working around oue operatives safety we still managed to be complete on time.
Two piles were dynamically tested of the working piles.
Mini Piling, Mallow, Cork
TAL were involved in the installation of hollowbar micro piles internally to house in order for the main contractor to install a raft slab due to subsidence issues with a domestic property.
TAL were also involved in void filling on this job.
TAL installed 30 number piles on site here and 3 piles were tested and passed here.
Mini Piling Works Frontstrand, Youghal, Cork
TAL were involved in the installation of 10 number 220mm bottom driven steel cased piles to 10m.
These piles were completed on time and within budget.
Two of the piles were dynamically tested by an independent company.

168mm ODEX Piles Ceanncora Lawn, Boreenmanna Road, Cork
TAL were involved with the main contractor Carrigbel Construction in the installation of 14 number piles on site for this new build.
TAL installed 168mm ODEX piles including a rock socket at 14 number locations on site.
On completing the piles there were two piles dynamically tested to prove the loads.
Check Grouting & Anchors @ Summerstown Road, Wilton, Cork
TAL were involved in the installation of the engineers system here at 14 positions around the house.
Firstly there was a check grouting system used through the foundation at all positions to solidify the ground under the foundation to a depth of 1.5m
Anchors were then installed through these positions to a depth of circa 6m into good bearing ground.
Stabilization of Floor Slab, Longford
TAL Construction were brought on board by Gem Construction to complete works during a shut down to rectify an area that one of the robots was on that had a rocking motion in the concrete floor.
TAL cored through the existing floor first. Then grouting was incorporated to solidify the upper section. Once this was completed a hollow bar was installed by hand through this down onto competent ground.
Escape of water claim, Woodbrook Avenue, Bishopstown, Cork
TAL Construction were involved in the claim for the above property in relation to works to be completed to the foundation.
TAL completed pressure grouting to the affected foundations.
TAL replaced the clay drains with PVC drains.
TAL replaced the pavements.
Hollowbar Piles, Renmore Road, Co. Galway
TAL Construction were involved in the installation of hollowbar piles for an extension at this property.
TAL installed 8 number Hollowbar piles to 8m. Dynamic load testing was completed on the site on two of the working piles as well.
